Whirlpool Washing engine Issues And Their Solutions

Whirlpool is really the largest appliance company today. Their past accomplishments are proofs of their expertise when it comes to creating dependable household appliances. However, they are not completely infallible.

If you are a Whirlpool washing machine owner, I am sure you have experienced a few problems with its functions. Some models of Whirlpool have also received nasty reviews.

But contemporary washing machines usually break down easily. Because of constant use, wear and tear, the parts of the machine break down and deteriorate. You would want to know the common Whirlpool washer issues so you can really find the right solution for them.

1. The washer suddenly stops and an Lf error appears.

Lf stands for Long Fill. contemporary washers needs to be filled up with water at the allotted time, else this error will pop up. You should check the water pressure in your area. If it is low, you might want to adjust the pressure. Also check the filter of the machine. Debris can hamper the flow of water. Clean the filter.

Check the dispensers as well. Water will come into the dispenser. If water is not flowing well into the dispenser, try checking the inlet water screens found at the back of the washer. Turn the water source off and remove the hose. remove the panel that covers the screens. Get rid of collected debris in those areas.

2. Water keeps on overflowing.

This usually happens in Cabrio washers. This is probably caused by a damaged pressure sensor. This part is linked to the control board of the machine. If it is damaged, it will not tell the machine to shut off the water source when the drum has already been filled up. You might need to have it fixed if it still under the warranty.

3. The water that comes out of the cold/cold water setting is hot.

You might have interchanged the relationship of the hot and cold water valve. Make sure you get it right. Try checking the manual of the washer and find out where you can join together the hot water valve and the cold water valve. Once you have linked it, give it a little test.

4. It will not spin.

If you can see the F51 code and the machine is not spinning, it is probably due to a switch failure in the Rotor position of the washer. This is a communication question in the middle of the sensor and the main board so don't replace the main board just yet.

Find out if there are any loose wires linked to the rotor switch. If it is totally not working, you might have to purchase a switch kit and replace the rotor position.
